DNSSec deployment for the root Zone started

 

The DNSSec is more essential as ever and ICANN annonsed that

“.. ICANN, VeriSign, with support from the U.S. Department of Commerce start deployment of the DNSSec at the root level…”

This is a good news for a better security and possibly not a good news for vendors which are not prepared to handle DNSSec in their products (SW adaption, test and verification, documentation, training, relase, …).  Click here to read the latest presentation from IETF
