Amazing brain research activities in University of California last week
Henry Molaison did go through a brain surgery in 1953 . After the surgery he couldn’t remember anything older than 20 minutes. Just a few small things. Researcher collected and documented his behavioural data in over 50 years. He died last year and donated his brain for research purposes to uncover the brain functionality. Last week the researcher team at University of California sliced his brain (on-line, live video casting), picture of each slice will be available for brain researcher around the world. Number of sections 2401, I guess a lot of work is necessary to examine 2401 sections).
